X, Y, Z
This research project relies on two main leads:
On one
hand, working with the grid (by distorting it, playing with
different scales, playing with its patterns…), and therefore,
exploring the whole architectural aesthetic codes that are
attached to it. On the other hand, conducting a research on
natural elements and their shapes.
Thus, the core of this
project relies in confronting these two very different
elements: the stiffness of the grid with the elusive and free
shapes of natural elements, in order to design original
objects and spaces.
This project was displayed during the Pli Public Workshop 01 exhibition held from November 2019 to January 2020, Pavillon de l’Arsenal, Paris.
